Generations Explanation
A G1 lion has no parents or anything in its heritage tree, like an NCL. A G2 lion would be his cubs with NCLs or other G1 lions - lions that only have parents in their heritage trees. G3 would have grandparents, G4 would have great-grandparents... and so on and so forth. It's pretty simple - the only trick is to make sure to count the LONGEST generation on the heritage page. If the lion is G2 on mom's side but G6 on dad's side, it's a G6 lion. Low gen kings are definitely preferred by the general public on LD.
As much as I do love low gen lions, I also breed much longer gen lions. I know my lions are clean because I've bred them from their ancestors for years. I can recognize all the lions in my longer gen lions' heritage trees and know that they are clean. There is nothing wrong with low gen breeding, but clean lions can be long gen or low gen, it doesn't really matter as long as they aren't related to the dirty stat kings.
